Yampa Valley Crane Festival

The 15th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival takes place September 3–6, 2026, in Steamboat Springs, Hayden, and Craig, Colorado. The festival celebrates the majestic Greater Sandhill Cranes as they migrate through the Yampa Valley with guided crane viewings, expert speakers, films, bird and nature walks, workshops, live raptors, children’s activities, and more. Nature’s Educators showcases live raptors up close during a special presentation.
